Her 2013 marriage to artist Marco Perago struck fans by surprise. Her wedding occurred shortly after her split with actor, Bradley Cooper. Saldana revealed the details on her life with Fashion Magazine, sharing heartfelt details on how she has found the answers to life with her new husband.
Saldana has had quite the journey in her career recently. She stirred up dialogue and controversy with her casting in the Biopic of the late jazz singer, Nina Simone. Many people disagreed with her receiving this roll due to the fact that Saldana is slender, lighter in complexion and overall Latina, which, some feel, does not serve as an accurate representation of her character. The production is set to debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
