Lush has put out a new facial cleanser recently, by the name of Movis. It doesn’t look like your run of the mill facial cleanser; it’s a bar of soap that looks like a piece of wheat. Movis is made with wheat bread crumbs, so it makes a little more sense as to why it would look like a piece of bread. According to Lush’s website, Movis has vitamin E, whole wheat breadcrumbs, cleansing landanum and sanded oil. This cleanser is great because it has a soft exfoliant, from the texture of the product, and leaves your face feeling squeaky clean.
It’s a little awkward to use if you don’t break up Movis, so break it apart into smaller pieces to make it easier to use on your face. When it’s broken up, it’s a lot easier to use on your face, but still a little awkward, especially if you’re used to cream cleansers or if you’re a big fan of Lush’s Angels on Bearskin. But once you get used to the bar you will love it.
Even though Movis has an exfoliant, it’s still really soft and spongey and smells great, so it doesn’t feel harsh and is good for everyday use. If you have acne scarring, using Movis can reduce the look of the acne scares, giving you a perfect complexion. Now who doesn’t want a perfect complexion? Your skin will look and feel softer and healthier.
You have to get Movis weighed, but for a 3.5 oz bar it’s only $9.95. Compared to some of Lush’s products, this is a steal! You wouldn’t even have to break the bank to get Movis. And since it’s a 3.5 oz it will last you for months. It smells great, works great, and is pretty affordable for a higher end product.
