For her 2015 Resort collection, designer Marcia Patmos, also co-founder of luxury cashmere brand Lutz & Patmos, has opted again toward her classically crafted silhouettes and muted palettes. The designer envisioned an “Upper East Side woman who goes to Bushwick Open Studios for an opening” as the inspiration and vision for the lineup. The ready-to-wear Resort collection succeeds in juxtaposing a casual, laidback vibe with a more polished and put together feel.

The looks feature dashes of leather, in the sleek leather pants and leather pocket details, and metallic gold such as in the detail of the white wool chunky pullover sweater and the gold foil shearling coat. The shoes shown were simplistic patterned strappy sandal heels to tie together the casual, yet polished looks. The New York City based designer struck the perfect balance between laid back, easy-to-wear functional looks, and well-crafted, classy pieces in her 2015 Resort lineup.
