Calling all the Levi loving, Daisy Duke doters of the world. Your time has come thanks to Madewell. The brand has just launched its 24 days of denim special.
It’s called Denim Every Day. The project will feature 24 successive days of unique product launches, including collaborations with Vans, Goop and ABC Carpet & Home. That’s right, limited edition items dedicated to diehard jean junkies.
Madewell’s head of design, Joyce Lee, tells WWD of the wide range the fall collection will introduce to the brand:
“Denim Every Day gave us a chance to bring denim outside of just jeans and show how we can do it in unconventional ways,” said Lee. “We worked with other brands who are experts in what they do — like ABC Carpet & Home, who created a chair using one of their best-selling styles and our denim, and P.F. Candle, who created a candle called Overalls with a scent reminiscent of freshly washed denim. As a new mom, I’m particularly proud to be launching our first maternity jean, which is exactly what I was looking for when I was pregnant with my now one-year-old daughter.”
Vans will also collaborate on a denim sneaker for the collection. Madewell will introduce the Madewell x Vans SK8 Slim High Tops as its kickoff collaboration. Make sure to gear up for a Goop jumpsuit, handpicked by Gwenyth Paltrow, along with custom denim jackets designed by artists from Austin, Texas.
Madewell will introduce a few home goods collaborations as well. A freshly cleaned denim scent will take the form of a candle done with P.F. Candle and Co., while ABC Carpet & Home will foster the production of Madewell’s very first furniture piece.
Lee’s mention of Madewell’s first maternity jean will also be followed by the debut of the brand’s own Anywhere style, offering a stylish stretch design for less than $100.
Every day, a new piece will be unveiled on Madewell’s website. The brand’s social media channels will also feature the limited edition pieces. And we really mean limited as only 15 Fort Lonesome jackets will be available. Only five of the ABC Carpet & Home chairs, too!
