While there are so many exfoliators and facial scrubs out there, how do we decide which one to pick? Let’s face it, most facial and body scrubs promise the same results, and many times, they don’t even work! The best solution to this problem is to custom make your own exfoliator; one that works for your individual skin, as well as gives you the most essential, and organic, nutrients, rather than some chemically made scrub with things in it that you can’t even pronounce!

Avocados have a plethora of nutritional values for your skin as well as your body. A rich moisturizer for skin and hair, it provides many essential nutrients including vitamin A and E, which helps remove dead skin cells, and is naturally oily, which helps penetrate dry skin. The glutamine amino acids help cleanse skin and protect it, and the many antioxidants act as a detox for your body and reduce the development of wrinkles. Try making this Avocado skin mask, and feel the difference in your skin with just a single use!

You will need:
1/2 medium ripe avocado
1 tablespoon of all natural honey
1 tablespoon of yogurt
1 cucumber

Mash the avocado in a bowl until it is creamy, then add in the honey (which helps kill germs and gives skin a youthful glow). Stir in the yogurt (which soften skins, tightens wrinkles, and reduces the appearance of pores). Slice two pieces of cucumber to put over your eyes, which hydrates skin, reducing the circles under your eyes.
Apply to a washed face. Leave on skin for at least 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Be gentle! Pat dry your skin after the mask is washed off.
