Bailey has not only been the creative head of the brand for over a decade, but this May he also became its Chief Executive Officer. Since 2001, Bailey has contributed to the increase of the company’s share price and profits, numbers show 500 percent to 575 million dollars (Vogueuk.com, 2014).

Adding to his success, Baily accepeted the GQ Designer of the Year award, “This is for the team that I work with and all the people that I collaborate with. It means a great deal.” He commented.

With his modern movement that added the avant -garde twist to Burberry, while preserving its classical heritage, Baily not only has shined as a designer but helped in launching many careers such as Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell and Roo Panes to name the few.
