Matt Smith joins “Pride, Prejudice and Zombies”

If Matt Smith was a fave or your since he was the doctor in ‘Doctor Who’, then you’ll be happy to hear that he’ll be joining the movie adaptation of “Pride, Prejudice and Zombies.”

The movie is a spin off of the classic novel “Pride and the Prejudice” by Jane Austen; however, in the book by Seth Grahame-Smith, Liz would rather fight the zombies terrorizing the countryside, then get married to an upper-class guy.

Matt Smith is joined by Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote and Douglas Booth in the cast. Matt Smith will be playing Mr. Collins, who it you recall from the classic book is someone who is on the lookout for a wife and Elizabeth becomes a prospect.

The filming for “Pride, Prejudice and Zombies” starts Sept. 24.
