The brand Emilio Pucci welcomes a new CEO to their team. Mauro Grimaldi will make a move from Vice President of sales, marketing and communication at Eli Saab to Pucci’s CEO.

It is no doubt that Grimaldi has the experience needed as he has worked for top brands such as Valentino and Salvatore Ferragamo in the past.

This is another big change for the company since creative director, Peter Dundas, left to work at Roberto Cavalli. Since, Massimo Giorgetti has created a whole different creative vision than the brand has ever seen before, beginning with his pre-spring/summer 2016 collection.

In no way has the change been a bad thing. The chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, Pierre-Yves Roussel, shared with WWD,

“People are excited and interested to follow the journey.”

Roussel believes Giorgetti brings a more modern and energetic look to the fashion house than before.

“Everyone is aligned on the strategy, which is very important for such a project,” says Roussel.

Grimaldi will be the first full-time CEO for the house since April 2014. He processes former CEO Alessandra Carra who left the brand to work with Laudomia Pucci at Agnona.

The Pucci brand will officially welcome Grimaldi as CEO in September.
