The emergence of Dylan O’Brien, the famous young actor from The Maze Runner films, has raised a lot of questions about his injury that resulted from The Maze Runner set. Last March, O’Brien was injured by one of the cars on set and suffered from major wounds, which has hindered him from finishing his acting roles in the next Maze Runner installments and other projects.
Maze Runner Director Wes Ball commented recently after the incident that he thought the twenty-four-year-old actor needed a few weeks of rest before he would return to The Maze Runner set. O’Brien’s manager although stated in April that his injuries were worse than they first thought and that the actor needed more time off from his job.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure was indefinitely halted for the actor to recover and was pushed to a new release date in January 2018. Due to the productions one-year setback, fans of The Maze Runner films and book series are concerned about the final film being cancelled. Even though the final Maze Runner film production hasn’t been cancelled, everyone is still wondering about O’Brien’s condition.
Now, due to a fan sighting, the world now knows that the actor was up and about at a Jamba Juice café recently. When the picture emerged, a lot of fans commented that O’Brien looked healthy and fully recovered from his injuries. The only physical difference fans and observers can see is that the actor has gained a beard and a fuller head of hair. The fan that took photos of Dylan O’Brien commented on social media that she was happy to see the actor in good spirits.
During his accident, he was reported to have suffered a concussion, facial fractures and other lacerations. Fans and film lovers are speculating whether or not his new beard could be hiding facial scarring.
Dylan O’Brien is also expected to return to his Teen Wolf role this coming November for the show’s sixth season.
