The new semester has just begun. This means new professors, new books, new classes, and even new friends. Meeting new people is a great way to expand your horizons and have fun. With a new semester comes new beginnings, so here are some ways to begin new friendships.
1. Classes
It’s incredibly easy to meet new people in class. The very fact that you’re taking a class together gives the two of you something in common. Talking before or after the first couple of classes is a great way to break the ice, and often it’s encouraged to exchange phone numbers in case someone misses class. You can then work with new people on group projects, study together, and even just hang out. Definitely take advantage of your classes and the people in them.
