Mila Kunis has partnered up with Gemfields jewelry to create a special ring celebrating mothers all over the world. It comes as no surprise that Mila, a new mother herself, is doing a project honouring these special woman. Two months ago the actress gave birth to daughter, Wyatt Isabelle with husband Ashton Kutcher.
Mila is a gemstone ambassador for the locally sourced gemstone brand. Gemfields is the number one global leading supplier of “responsibly sourced colored gemstones”. The actress, who designed a special piece calls it the “motherhood ring”. It features a gold band with an emerald teardrop center.
“Carrying the child and bringing a new life into the world marks the start of an incredible journey. Throughout history, every culture has its own way of recognizing this extraordinary event, often with the gift for the mother or child. Precious green emeralds are traditionally symbols of motherhood, wisdom, and long-lasting love. But they are also a symbol for help in many cultures, and so the proceeds from this collection of motherhood rings will benefit the opening Knaka Health Center, where new wards have been built, a major undertaking that will have long-lasting benefits to the local community.” Mila said.
The 18 karat emerald ring was co-created by jeweler Marina B. All profits from the ring sales go directly to building a maternity clinic near the Gemfield’s mine. If your interested in reserving a ring click this link. The ring is priced at $4800.
