Miley Cyrus will be taking over MTV next month. The ‘Wrecking Ball” singer announced on Instagram that she will be hosting the 2015 VMA’s on August 30th at 9pm EST. Cyrus will be the first host since Kevin Hart in 2012, since the show went host-less for the past two years.
Cyrus has had an interesting past with the VMA’s. In 2013, what the first side of the photo most likely referring to, she gave a performance with “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke that caused a lot of negative uproar for her. The following year, 2014, was quite emotional for Cyrus when she won Video Of The Year for ‘Wrecking Ball’ and had a young man named Jesse accept her award for her to raise awareness for homeless teens in Los Angeles.
We’ll all be on the edge of our seats to see what Miley Cyrus has in store for this year.
