During the Fourth of July weekend pop singer Miley Cyrus, 21, took another topless photo to show off her new tattoo. The new tat is in tribute to her deceased dog Floyd.
Early on Sun., Jul. 6, Cyrus exhibited her tattoo via Instagram. In the photos Cyrus and two friends display their torsos where they have matching tattoos. Cyrus paired the pictures with the caption “#housepartygreentonguefloydtats @waynecoyne5@katyweaver #withalittlehelpfrommyfwends.”
In the pictures, Cyrus is seen wearing a platinum blonde wig in two braids. She censors her body in the photograph, replacing her nipples with fireworks, in spirit of the holiday.
The tattoos are in a badge looking design with drawings of Floyd’s Alaskan Klee Kai’s face. The tattoo has written,”W!th a little help from my fwends.” Even though it is uncertain whether the tattoos are real or not, several of the pictures reveal an artist inking the group.
Cyrus has been mourning the death of Floyd for months now. She also paid tribute to her dog during her Bangerz tour. Recently, Cyrus has adopted a new puppy who she has named Emu. After acquiring the new pup, Cyrus showcased him to her 10 million Instagram followers by posted a picture of the two cuddling.
About Emu, Cyrus said, “Time to start making Emu accounts smilers. He’s here and here to stay. I welcomed Emu Coyne Cyrus into the family a couple days ago. Been keepin him a secret cause sometimes I’m weird like that. It’s taken some time to be ready for this next step and loving again. There will never be anyone like Floyd.” Adding, “There was a bond that was so deep it’s irreplaceable but that’s not what I am trying to do. Never will I replace Floyd and that’s something I had to take time to understand.”
