Misfit, the wearable technology brand that was acquired by Fossil last year, is coming out with a new design: the Ray.

Not only is the Ray a functional activity tracker, it’s also great for those who have both style and fitness in mind. The device is cylindrical and worn around interchangeable bands, as either a necklace or bracelet. It works by connecting to the user’s smartphone, providing text and call notifications, a silent alarm and “smart button” function that allows users to play music, take a photo with their phone or turn lights on and off.

It alerts the user by use of vibrations and colored lights. The Ray is currently available in 4 colors, but Misfit plans to launch 20 new colors for the device. The idea is to add leather and metallic colors that make the device look more like traditional jewelry.

Some of the new Misfit items are currently available online, while others will not be released until August and September. Older Rays are made of aluminum, while the new versions will be made with stainless steel.

The prices for the Ray will remain the same, with the device and sport band retailing for $99.99, while the Rays with leather bands are priced higher at $119.99. Necklace accessories are $29.99.
