Rumors of a possible relationship seem to be confirmed after Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden were spotted holding hands in New York City yesterday.
Hopes are high for these two, as their casual outing appeared to be lax and natural. This coffee run definitely wasn’t any first date – so what else have the lovebirds been hiding?
The two were first seen together at a gym in Los Angeles, but Diaz and Madden (Nicole Richie’s brother-in-law) both kept hush-hush on the situation. They couldn’t keep quiet for long, though, as they were photographed kissing at dinner this past weekend. Sources also say the couple was seen at breakfast in Manhattan on Sunday. By the looks of it, they were thoroughly enjoying one another’s company.
Are the 41-year-old actor and 35-year-old guitarist looking to settle down? “She’s at a point in her life where she would love to settle down, but for now with Benji it’s about being happy and taking things as they come,” says a friend of Diaz. “She’s happy … really happy.”
The couple seems to me content in their relationship, opening it up to the public and remaining seemingly unfazed by the paparazzi. Madden appears to have that bad boy personality, but friends say he is actually very tenderhearted. “I don’t think you find them, I think they find you. My feeling about it is you should just be open to receiving,” Diaz said.
Diaz and Madden sound like the perfect couple, and they look like it, too.
