Nicholas Kirkwood Opens Shop in Japan

Nicholas Kirkwood has just opened up his very first space for retail in department store Isetan in Tokyo, Japan. Featuring Kirkwood’s signature chevron pattern, the space was decorated by Mehrnoosh Khadivi of Craftwork Studio. Within the space, Kirkwood has highlighted the very best of the selection on women’s 2014 summer and pre-fall collections, priced anywhere between 39,000 yen to 130,000 yen; in USD that translates to $385 to $1,283.

Unfortunately, the shop will only be opened for a very limited amount of time. The small shop, which opened just last week, will only remian in operation till May 27th.

Despite the time limit, Nicholas Kirkwood has previously opened up similar spaces in Printemps and Bal Harbour Shops, and has plans in the making to open up a small shop in the Middle East.

Kirkwood will also be showing his men’s collection for spring/summer 2015, once again, at London Collections: Men on June 15. To celebrate the brand’s growth, and emphasize the expansion of the brand, stores launch in London, New York, and Las Vegas. Clearly, business is booming!
