Nick Jonas has made his solo debut with his new single ‘Chains.’ The song is nothing like the previous jams The Jonas Brothers released when they were together. It is definitely more R&B than Rock and Nick’s voice is smooth as it sings along the track.
The song is addicting and is layered with many repetitious and memorable lines. “You’ve got me in chains, you’ve got me in chains for your love,” and “you try to break the chains but the chains only break me,” are some of the lines peppered throughout the song. Jason Evigan, Amar Malik and Danny Parker wrote the lyrics.
Nick Jonas told E!, “”I found my way to connect to the song,” continuing, “I found it was really true and real. For me, it embodies that feeling of being trapped in a love that is kind of doomed.”
