You’re back in the dating game. You meet a guy and immediately see yourself falling for him. You meet the most beautiful, well put together woman and you are willing to give her the world, but you’ve only just met. First date your new beau begins to show signs that they are broke. You find yourself texting your BFF while they are in the restroom. Â So that there’s no confusion, we have compiled a list of signs that may be indications that your potential lover is broke.
Is she broke?
1. Does she get uncomfortable at the dinner table once she has opened the menu? Is the menu too pricey for her?
2. Most women are well kept, as they should be. Women love shoes. If you look at her shoes and they are a pair of last year’s trend, out-of-date pumps with a broken heel, she’s broke. So I’m guessing she couldn’t make it to the shoe store to repair them. Are these her go – to heels?
3. If her hair is not well kept she’s broke. Whether she has long hair, short hair or extensions, her hair should be clean and of great quality.
4. What kind of bag is she wearing? Â If it is not a name brand, is the leather torn? Women love handbags. If she wears the same Fendi labeled bag more than 10 fresh dates, she may be broke.
5. She complains that everything is too expensive, the cost of food, living and leisure.
6. Does she drive an expensive car but can’t afford tolls or dinner?
7. She complains that the gym is too expensive. Â We are in a day and age where gym memberships are as cheap as $10 a month. What’s there to complain about?
8. Does she wear lingerie? Do they give off the cheap vibe? If they are worn are look inexpensive she is more than likely broke.
9. If she considers herself a glamorous woman but wears cheap jewelry she may be broke. Costume jewelry is usually low-priced so if you see that her jewelry was purchased at the grocery store, then that’s a sign that she may be broke. Her gold should not have an orange tint.
10. Does she tell you that you shouldn’t spend money on hanging out with friends, vacationing or clothing? She shouldn’t be watching your wallet, that’s your job not hers.
11. She suggests a cheap restaurant for your first date. She’s suggesting cheap because she may assume that you two are going Dutch, therefore she will not have to come out of pocket as much.
