Olivia de Havilland is a British American actress, born in 1961, is known for her roles in films like ‘Gone with the wind’, ‘The adventures of Robin Hood’, Captain Blood’, ‘To each his own’ and many more.
The beautiful thespian has won several academy awards and nominations during her golden career. Apparently, the actress still seems to be going strong. At least health wise if nothing else.
On Wednesday, the actress celebrated her 99th birthday. During her lifetime in a glorious career, several of her colleagues grew quite fond of her. Betty Davis in fact even said, “I feel like I’ve always known and loved Olivia.”
Havilland’s first film was the acclaimed ‘A midsummer night’s dream’ in the year 1935. Several of her colleagues from the film ‘Gone with the wind’ from the American Film Institute’s top 100, have in fact passed away. However, a film that has received such accolades does still stand the test of time.
The actress’ mantra for life probably comes from one of her most famous quotes that simply goes, “One must take what comes, with laughter.”
Hopefully, the actress lives out to be more than an even one hundred.
