Oscar Isaac has just landed the role of the villain in the upcoming X-Men film ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, which is meant to be a follow up film to ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’.
The role he will be playing is Apocalypse, an immortal mutant that has plans on taking over the world. You can certainly say he’s ambitious and will be a challenge for the X-Men. Bryan Singer, director of the film, told EW the focus of the film, “’Apocalypse’ deals with ancient mutancy. What would humans have thought mutants were? What would mutants think humans were? You’re dealing with gods and things like that. And what if one survived and what if that found its way into our world?”
