Like we said in a recent article, In the early 2000’s Paris Hilton set every fashion trend you can think of. And she is now bringing those trends back and is doing it her way.
The Hilton Hotel Heiress has collaborated on a clothing collection with online retailer Boohoo. The collection is everything you would have totally died for 15 years ago (and you’re still dying for now).
The 70-piece collection includes swimwear, slinky party dresses, and flowy maxis. Everything will be under $100, and, include plenty of chihuahuas and tiaras.
According to a 2018 Women’s Wear Daily article, for the lineup, Boohoo took inspiration from some of Hilton’s iconic looks such as a silver dress, which she wore in her 20s to a chain mail top, which takes inspiration from the dress she wore to her 21st birthday party.
The collection also has a lot of palm prints, which are inspired by the Beverly Hills Hotel, where they held their first design meeting. There’s also inspiration from her dogs and some kitsch items. “It’s very Paris in terms of its design and aesthetic,” said Natalie McGrath, vice president of marketing at Boohoo USA.
The 37-year-old entrepreneur told Women’s Wear Daily, in a 2018 report, that she discovered Boohoo.com on Instagram “and loved all their cute styles, designs and accessories they make.” She described the Boohoo collaboration as “very Paris, inspired by my life and style, the early 2000s, Beverly Hills and Ibiza.”
“My favorite pieces are the silver party dress, the Beverly Hills hotel palm-inspired print dress, the sexy gold halter swimsuit, and my ‘That’s Hot’ chihuahua tracksuit,” Paris said in an exclusive statement to Cosmopolitan.com in 2018 report. “I have always loved being a trendsetter — creating my own style. I really just went all-out with this collection and it totally represents me.”
“Paris is everything the Boohoo girl is and we can’t wait to have her on board with us for summer,” CEO and co-founder of Boohoo.com, Carol Kane, said in a statement. “The campaign embodies all the fabulous trends from the early 2000s that Paris Hilton is best-known for, giving a nod to her own style that we think our customers will really love.”
