Pharrell Williams’ $815,500 Watch

Pharrell Williams did not come to Paris Fashion Week so he could blend in. He arrived at Chanel’s Haute Couture show in Paris in style.

The recording artist wore a Richard Mille RM 70-01 Tourbillon Alain Prost Watch. It currently retails at $815,500 and only 30 of them exist.

According to a 2018 D’Marge report, Williams paired the extravagant timepiece with a Chanel sweater featuring an integrated collar and contrasting double ‘C’ logo and matching Chanel sunglasses. The look was polished off with cropped denim and polished black lace-ups.

But Paris Fashion Week Shows are not the only places Williams likes to show off his most expensive accessories.

At the recent Parklife music festival, Williams was seen rocking the same Richard Mille RM 70-01 Tourbillon Alain Prost on stage, throwing caution to the wind. We guess when you’ve got that much in the bank, air time and a decent shimmy far outweighs a minor scuff on an exclusive timepiece, according to a 2018 D’Marge report.

We can say for sure that Williams definitely has an eye for incredible timepieces.

According to the Richard Mille websiteThis new creation was developed in collaboration with Alain Prost, an avid cyclist, and it was to this discipline that Richard Mille turned for inspiration.

The creation of a timepiece demands a balancing act between total volume, the physical requirements of the movement and its specific features, however, the user’s comfort is equally essential.
This was at the heart of the original tonneau shape developed by Richard Mille at the brand’s beginning. Regardless of whether a particular RM model is slim or massive, its shape ensures optimal comfort, never interfering with the owner’s physical movements. Form and function are approached in yet another manner with the RM 70-01, according to the Richard Mille website.

Alain Prost is a retired French racing driver. He is a four-time Formula One Drivers’ Champion.

I tend to focus my attention outwards and am drawn to the external world of action. I learn a lot about the world through experience. Focusing on what I have seen, heard, or touched, gives me the ability to develop a practical and realistic outlook on the world. Making decisions based on impersonal criteria like principles and logic is very important to me.I accept responsibility for my actions. When I succeed, I accept the satisfaction of the achievement, and if I do fail at something, I learn from it and do better next time. I feel confident in my abilities and am accepting of myself. I have good time management skills. I am able to fit the most important things in life into my schedule. I have a strong sense of goal commitment.
