If you love The Walking Dead and are a fan of the franchise, then you’ll be happy to hear that the show with be having a companion series. AMC has ordered the plot for the companion series, but let’s hope that it’ll stick around.
There will be a new cast of characters, but in a different location; however, the universe is still the same so you can be sure there will be some zombie action. The production won’t be started until later this year and the project is currently untitled. You Walking Dead fans of the comics and video game are probably dying to know what arc or character the show will have, but it seems like you’re going to have to wait to find out.
One of the executive producers of The Walking Dead has stated,
‘There are many corners of The Walking Dead universe that remain unseen in the shadows,” Robert Kirkman said. “Being given the opportunity to shine a light into those corners and see what lurks out there is an absolute thrill. I know the fans are anxious to hear what Dave and I have been cooking up for this new universe of The Walking Dead, and I’m happy to be one step closer to sharing it with them.”
