This weekend began the extravaganza known as the wedding between reality star, Kim Kardashian and rapper hubby, Kanye West. Celebrity duo, Kimye kept the details of their wedding on the down low, so naturally, the hype was through the roof.
Finally on Friday, the flashy couple had their rehearsal dinner at 7 p.m. in Versailles’ Hall of Mirrors in France. Yes. King Louis XIV’s Versaille. Yes The Hall of Mirrors. Quite a fitting location for the attention-seeking duo.
The bride-to-be wore a white tuxedo Maison Martin Margiela gown featuring a plunging neckline and dramatic slit. The groom-to-be sported a modest nude-colored suit. Celebrity attendees included Lana Del Rey, who performed, athlete Serena Williams, model Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend, and rapper Jay Z. Kardashian’s family friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck were also in attendance.
By Saturday, the duo along with their 600 guests fled Paris for the ceremony in Florence, Italy at Forte di Belvedere. Reportedly, Kardashian’s brothers Rob Kardashian and Brody Jenner were not present for the festivities.
