Yes, Prince William may be married and having a second child, but cheer up, we still have one Prince left! Prince Harry rode the Poppy bus yesterday in honor of the Royal Legion, London’s Poppy Day.
“Prince Harry is amazing because he has a lot of respect and time for us. I have met him numerous times. He is always the same – full of energy,” said L/Cpl Johnson Beharry, a fellow passenger of the bus.
The annual Poppy Day is held in order to raise funds for veterans and their families as well as service workers. Prince Harry, having served two tours in Iraq is very close to the project. The double decker, which usually doesn’t make a pit stop inside the private gates of Buckingham Palace held several celebrities including, Barbra Windsor and Joss Stone.
Thousands of Poppy’s were set on the Tower of London grounds as spectators donated to the charity, shared stories and gave their thanks to the many who have fought for a better future.
