If you thought you’ve seen it all for the Resort Collections for the 2015 year, think again! Proenza Schouler’s designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough found a vibrant glow of graphic patterns and loud, uninhibited color schemes.

They were previously seen in the Fall collection, but have been toned down ever so slightly in their 2015 Resort Collection for the line.

Hernandez calls the silhouettes seen in the pre-collection “democratic,” according to WWD. In terms of influence on the colors and blocking designs in the collection, as well as their “beach and athletic” swimwear collection; he dropped names like Ellsworth Kelly and the paintings of Clyfford Still, revealing that the layout and curation of the collection was anything but casual.

Black, blue, white, grey and red were the prominent colors in the collection. Hand beaded tunics, and wrap dresses are seen throughout the collection, along with a new laser leather design technique that has become highly recognized in the collection itself. Mixed patterns and playful shapes were also in each of the pieces. However, for those not-so-spontaneous women, silk georgetter blouses and drop-waist pleated skirts were designed for the professional, career driven woman.

Whichever look you choose, you’ll be sure to find something in this collection to express yourself perfectly, whether your look is sporty, professional, or down right eccentric!
