It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow of Public School. The pair recently won the CFDA for Menswear Designer of the Year. Next up, they shared their debut resort collection for 2015, and they’re not playing by the rules. It’s all about the neutrals for this collection: white, black, gray, and navy.

For those working to add more playful colors to their wardrobe, don’t cross off this brand yet, Osborne promised Vogue the pair will have more color for their Spring collection.
Although the designers have told style.com that they are still in the process of figuring out who the Public School girl really is, it seems they are on the right track. The collection is the female counterpart to their menswear collection and reflects a laid back urban delight with a tomboy twist. Each piece is fit for running around the city, or staying stylish in the office. They feature an array of sheer blouses, work pants, and a pair of black strappy platform sandals.

The first resort collection from the new CFDA winners, promises the Public School girl a wardrobe full of comfort and adds an urban twist to sporty chic.
