But that’s not all. Pura Utz is taking on its own initiative when it comes to making fashion more ethical. This isn’t necessarily unexpected for the brand, as Andres has had a history of using fashion as a means of supporting causes; such as when she released a line of T-Shirts centered on the #FreeTheNipple movement. Pura Utz handbags are handmade by Mayan women in Guatemala, who are in turn fairly compensated for their work and craft.
