French Connection has decided to use Rankin as their photographer for their fall campaign. Rankin does not only shoot fashion: he has worked on both Britain’s and Germany’s “Top Model” shows, he has done a cameo for another British show, and he has had a hand in documentaries.
French Connection’s fall campaign includes model Camilla Christensen and British magician Troy. The campaign incorporates magic tricks with their products and models. They showcase levitation, card tricks, restoration tricks and animal illusions. Rankin told WWD, “I love French Connection’s fearless approach. They’re a brand that aren’t afraid to take creative risks.”
