Los Angeles based-brand Reformation has long held a special place in the heart of many fashionistas. Its vintage-inspired glamour coupled with its ethical methods of production have essentially made it a household name here in the US. Their dresses have been spotted on the likes of Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
Founded in 2009, Reformation insists on making sure their production is as eco-friendly as possible. This often means using fabrics such as Tencel or using methods such as repurposing vintage clothing.
However, fans of the brand outside of the US, specifically in the UK, now have cause to rejoice. As before, the brand’s clothes were only available online and at its US stores; but now, Reformation will now be available at retailers in the UK.
Reformation is now partnering with London boutique Browns to release a 27-piece summer collection. As a worthy introduction for its UK retail debut, each of the pieces will be based upon the brands most beloved styles. The collection will include bridal, swim, denim, and summer-based items.
Brown’s womenswear buying director, Ida Peterson says “Reformation continues to be the leader in its field and their approach to sustainability is admirable so we couldn’t be more pumped to bring a selection of the best from Reformation to Browns this summer.”
Reformation will even be releasing a few new, special edition pieces
that will exclusively be available at Browns: “This will be the first time their swimwear hits the shores of Europe and we have a few special pieces which have been created exclusively for Browns to celebrate the partnership,” says Peterson.
It seems like Reformation will be making a mark with its first of hopefully many European debuts.
