British singer Rita Ora, 23, has finally decided to open up about her breakup with DJ Calvin Harris, 30, to Glamour U.K. magazine for their September issue.
In the interview, Rita mentioned that it was difficult to maintain her relationship with Calvin Harris, as they both had their own music careers. The starlette stated: “It’s hard to have a relationship in this business. We both work really hard, we’re both all over the place. It was a wake-up call. I’m gonna tell you the truth… I’m not doing too great. But I’m doing better than I thought.”

Rita also added, “I adore him and he’s an amazing human being. It was more about the situation, it was inconvenient, it was sh–, it sucks.”
The two split this past June. Following the break-up both artists posted numerous tweets about the news in which they asserted that it was cordial. About going public with the news via Twitter Rita admitted, “Honestly, if Calvin hadn’t done it, I wouldn’t have done it. It took me five days to write three sentences. It was a massive…I don’t know.”
Even though Rita is rumored to be dating Richard Hilfiger, Tommy Hilfiger’s son, she revealed to Glamour that she needs some time to be on her own. “I think I’m gonna have a minute to myself. I’m 23. I’ve got the best friends in the world to be with. Especially now at this point in my life. You live and you learn, don’t you?” She explained.
Rita has had support recovering from her breakup from friends Cara Delevingne and Ellie Goulding. On their help, Rita said, “Only a few people in this industry stick by their word and those girls do. It’s a pact. I can smell the difference.”
Rita Ora will perform at the 2014 VMA’s alongside Iggy Azalea.
