Rita Ora’s Bestie Tattoo

Rita Ora, 23, showed off her brand new tattoo, a freehand ballerina design, done by tattoo artist Bang Bang Mccurdy, through Instagram. She expressed that her new tat is dedicated to her best friend “@andacloud9”.

With her Instagram post, Ora wrote the caption, “We’re gonna be ballerinas when we’re 102! @andacloud9 #iloveubestie @bangbangnyc free-hand drawn on. You beast! Love you my brother!” The image showed the singer lying in a makeshift tattoo parlor within a hotel room as she was getting tatted up.

This tattoo is revealed only days after Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn flaunted their matching bestie tattoos via instagram. In fact, Ora got her tattoo just a day after Delevingne and Dunn got their matching “DD” initials tattooed on their hips done by Bang. It appears that once again, Ora is trying to outdo her former “wifey” Delevingne.

Back in Sept. 2013, Ora went with Delevigne to get tatted up by Bang in his New York city location. Even though they went together the BFF’s didn’t get matching ink. Rather, Delevigne had her mother’s name, Pandora, inked in script across her left bicep. Meanwhile, Ora had a large and extensively detailed rib cage tattoo of Alberto Vargas’ painting “Memories of Olive.”

Delevigne posted her and Dunn’s bestie tattoos on Instagram with the caption: “@officialjdunn so happy we got our DDs! Thank you @bangbangnyc.”

However, the bad girl duo hasn’t entirely separated. On Wed., Jun. 11, Ora and Delevigne took selfies hanging out in New York together. Perhaps the new tattoo is a reaction to her recent break-up from Calvin Harris.

After their year-long relationship Ora and Calvin split earlier this month. Calvin posted on Sat. via Twitter, that, “myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman and I wish her all the best. (sic)” Recently, Calvin has been sighted with a few different women out and about in Hollywood.
