Robin Thicke’s Pathetic Billboard Awards Act

Robin Thicke’s new song ‘Get Her Back’ sounds like a mandated activity assigned by his marriage counselor. Performing the hit for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards, he asks the crowd to help him ‘Get Her Back.’ One can only speculate that the song was written as a result of his recent split with wife Paula Patton. The split is rumored to have been caused by Thicke cheating and his behavior at the VMA’s with Miley Cyrus could also have been to blame. The lyrics get deep, sounding like he is giving himself a pep talk. ‘I gotta get her back,’ ‘I gotta treat her right.’ He ends the song by getting down on his knees saying he doesn’t know how to sleep without his wife by his side and he wants her to come home. The VMA’s left him looking like a creepy old man, all thanks to Ms. Cyrus, but the Billboard Awards left him looking a tad too pathetic.
