Rosenthal Tee Returns to New York Fashion Week

Acquiring acclaim for her bridal work, Rosenthal Tee blew the New York City audience away with her Spring/Summer 2o17 line, entitled, “The Girl, Sisa.” The show was held at Pier 59, and showcased the superior talent of her vision.

Born and raised in the Philippines, the designer gets her inspiration from the things she see’s around her, but more importantly: the sea.

A quote that stands out to Rosenthal is: “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

The pieces in her collection ranged in beautiful whites, soft greens, and bright blues. Silhouettes that cascaded down the runway, with hints of skin under the sheer fabric with trains also grabbed the audience’s attention. Other trends that were off the shoulder looks that gives life to collarbones and chest.

This return showing to a CAAFD and iFashion Network sponsored show was in every way an improvement on her Fall/Winter show, which is an incredible feat, that showcase was already almost perfect!

Memorable pieces of Rosenthal’s draped the runway with classic gowns with perfectly placed fabric flowers and feathers. The final look that took breathes away, was a sheer white dress with floral embellishments and a long train.
