It seems however that even years later, the feud is still going on. Hasselbeck said on Fox & Friends, “What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?” in reference to O’Donnell’s return.

Thankfully, Whoopi Goldberg is the only person staying on the show, so any animosity will be forgotten with the newest cast.

The news that two new hosts will be joining O’Donnell and Goldberg, came after the announcement of Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy leaving, however, nobody has been confirmed yet.

According to TMZ, who seems to have all the insight on The View, ABC is looking to keep a wide range of ethnicities and personalities for the show, and is looking for a Latina, and conservative.

The View tweeted on July 10th, “It’s official! ABC confirms Rosie O’Donnell as co-host of #TheView w/ moderator Whoopi Goldberg for Season 18.”
