Today’s odd moment of inception comes in the form of t-shirt competition between two child stars turned super hot, intriguing men: Macaulay Culkin and Ryan Gosling. Culkin, best known for his role in Home Alone, has taken a break from the big screen. In fact, he hasn’t starred in a movie in ten years. His new role is frontman of band Pizza Underground. The band covers Velvet Underground songs with an ode to: yep, you guessed it, pizza. Ryan Gosling, also a child star as a member of the Mickey Mouse Club alongside Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears. We all know and love him as hunk Noah Calhoun from The Notebook. A year ago, he was seen running errands in Studio City, California sporting a white t-shirt with a black and white photo from Life magazine of Macaulay Culkin in his Home Alone years.

Sunday May 11; Pizza Underground tweeted a picture of Macaulay wearing a shirt printed with a picture of Ryan wearing the shirt with Macaulay on it. “@cheesedayz:

.  In the picture, Macaulay is wearing the same black glasses as Ryan is wearing on his shirt, smiling with a mug decorated with pizza and the boys in his band. Monday; the band kept the mind blowing going with a photo-shopped picture of Ryan. His shirt is now a picture of Macaulay wearing a shirt of Ryan where Ryan is wearing Macaulay. The tweet reads,

With all the games, we can only hope this is foreshadowing one of two things: Macaulay is coming back to the big screen to star in a movie with Ryan, or Ryan is going to collaborate with Pizza Underground. Either one would be fine with us. Who wore it best? Ryan wearing Macaulay? Or Macaulay wearing Ryan wearing Macaulay?
