For its 17th Key To The Cure campaign, Saks Fifth Avenue is teaming up with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) for the first time. The campaign has enlisted the help of actress Julianne Moore and designer Jason Wu.

Jason Wu designed the limited edition T-shirt of course. The shirt will be available in stores and online at and on October 1st. The garment will sell for $35, and all proceeds will go to Stand Up To Cancer.

In a press release on PR News Wire Wu states,

“It is an honor to partner with Saks Fifth Avenue on their signature charitable initiative Key To The Cure this year. My hope is that people purchase the limited edition tee, which benefits Stand Up To Cancer, an initiative that has made great strides in cancer research.”

Julianne Moore was named the spokesperson. Moore will appear in the PSAs across all women’s fashion magazines wearing the T-shirt. In the same press release she states,

“Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way, whether you’ve known or cared for a loved one facing a cancer diagnosis, or contended with cancer yourself. So I’m honored to work with the Entertainment Industry Foundation and Saks Fifth Avenue to highlight Stand Up To Cancer’s mission to make everyone diagnosed with cancer a survivor [.]”

Saks will be hosting its annual charity shopping weekend from Thursday Oct. 15 to Sunday Oct. 18. The purpose is to raise both funds and awareness in hopes that it can create innovative cancer research for all types of cancer. Saks and the EIF come together to support the cure for the illness that takes so many loved ones each year.
