Oscar winner Sandra Bullock rushed to the aid of an extra while filming in New Orleans this weekend. According to TMZ, while filming “Our Brand is Crisis”, one of the extras on set collapsed during filming.
The actors are required to wear heavy coats in high temperatures. The extra suffered from heatstroke, which can be deadly if not treated quickly. Bullock rushed to their unnamed extra’s aid and provided water and a steady fan until paramedics arrived.
Filming is resuming this morning but there is no word yet on the extra’s condition.
