The Duftstar awards took place last night in Berlin to honor new and classic scents in the fragrance industry. Many awards were given out for personality, prestige, campaigning and much, much more, while soul singer Lisa Stansfield, and Norwegein hip-hip artist Madcon provided the entertainment for the party.

Roberto Cavalli received the year’s special ‘Personality Prize,’ and Dior Homme Cologne won in the ‘Prestige Category,’ along with Giorgio Armani’s Sì, who also won ‘Best Print Campaign’ featuring Cate Blanchett. However, the ‘People’s Prize for Prestige’ was awarded to Boss Jour Pour Femme from Hugo Boss, and Le Beau Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. Marc Jacob’s, Honey, won ‘Best Bottle Design.’

Her and Hermès Terre d’Hermès, by Narciso Rodriguez, had both been deemed ‘Classics.’ Exclusive prizes were awarded to Coty Prestige for Bottega Veneta Eau Légère and Bottega Veneta pour Homme. The ‘Women’s Lifestyle Award’ was given to P&G Prestige for Christina Aguilera Unforgettable. James Bond 007 Quantum won the ‘Men’s Lifestyle Prize,’ and both of these fragrances were also awarded the ‘People’s Prize in Lifestyle.’
