‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Series Coming to Netflix

If you love Lemony Snicket’s or Daniel Hader’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events” book series then you’ll be glad to know that Netflix will be turning the books into a series available for streaming. The last time anyone say the books series on any screen was the 2004 movie adaptation starring Jim Carrey and other stars like Meryl Streep and Emily Browning. It had some mixed reviews from fans of the books and moviegoers; however, it was a pretty successful film. Lemony Snicket released a statement on the news,

“I can’t believe it. After years of providing top-quality entertainment on demand, Netflix is risking its reputation and its success by associating itself with my dismaying and upsetting books.”
