Men may no longer have to wonder whether a woman is faking it in bed. A new product called “SexFit” is being designed by Bondara, a British online retailer of intimate toys. SexFit is similar to FitBit, SmartBand, or Gear as it tracks the users activity, however this is a much more intimate evaluation.
Bondara explained the product, stating: “The SexFit is worn on the male genitalia and once connected to the mobile app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, records key statistics and uses vibrations to set a recommended pace. Users can track how well they are keeping to the pre-programmable ‘training’ sessions through LED lights at the top of the tracker. When the centre light is lit, the user is hitting peak performance and matching the rhythm set by the training programme. Too many lights and the user will need to slow down and not enough lights will advise them to pick up the pace.”
Following the “workout”, during which the speed of men’s “training sessions” may be adjusted by pressing a button, they have access to the free SexFit app which fully reviews their performance. Some of the information that it provides is as detailed as thrusts per minute and the amount of calories a session has burned. Further, SexFit gives the option of sharing this evaluation with others via social media.
Louise Bagley, head buyer for Bondara, described SexFit saying, “The digital health and quantified-self craze has started to infiltrate all aspects of our lives. Our device is a natural fit alongside the influx of these personal health trackers and with the added benefit of improving an individual’s sex life, we expect it to be a huge hit when it becomes available.” Adding, “That’s why we’ve invested in developing the next evolution of toys, which we hope will bring joy to millions of couples who want to upgrade their intimacy.”
Even though it is still in the prototype stage, Bondara hopes to make SexFit available by Spring 2015.
