Violinist Lindsey Stirling was once voted off America’s Got Talent but she didn’t let that discourage her. She went back on the show and dominated. Her second tryout featured singer Lzzy Hale and the pair sounded incredible. The 27 year old violinist, dancer, performance artist, and composer was one of the most celebrated new artists in 2012, delivering her classic compositions with a modern twist.
Her latest creation ‘Shatter Me’ paired with Hale’s piercing vocals is brilliant. The music video to the track sets a scene where Stirling is performing ballet and playing the violin inside what seems to be a snow globe. Towards the end of the video the glass globe shatters, along with Stirling- which seems very appropriate for the title of the song. The video is almost as thrillingly, beautiful as the song.
