Thursday nights are a big competition between all national TV networks; however, luckily for ABC they have a writer and producer on their side that can’t seem to do any wrong: Shonda Rhimes. It’s not only a huge success that one writer-producer was able to premiere three of her own shows on one network and on the same night, but for all of them to be successful as well.
Shonda Rhimes is the genius behind long running ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, extremely popular ‘Scandal’ and highly-anticipated ‘How to Get Away with Murder’. The viewership was extremely good as ‘Grey’s’ racked in 9.8 million viewers, ‘Scandal’ had 11.9 million viewers and ‘HTGAWM’ had 14 million viewers. This goes to show that Shonda Rhimes is and has been on a roll.
