The beach is the go-to destination for the summer. There are a ton of things that you need to bring, like beach towels, umbrellas, sunblock, and of course a bathing suit. But what you really need is food, considering how long you plan on spending there, the salt water that makes you tired and the sun bearing down on you only multiplies the effect. So, here are a few snack foods that you should take to the beach.

1. Trail Mix

This is an awesome snack; it’s nutritious, easy to make and simple. You can make your trial mix out of your favorite mini-snacks. You can put raisin, any kind of nut, dried fruits, chocolate and whatever else you want into it.

2. Pretzels

These can give you an energy boost because they are loaded with carbohydrates, which is awesome for a fun-filled day at the beach. There are different kinds of pretzels you can take. Get twists, sticks, soft or nuggets, it depends on your taste.

3. Popcorn

This is easily accessible and quick to eat. Popcorn doesn’t make a mess and can be held in nearly anything. You can buy a bag of popcorn at your local supermarket or pop a bag at home before you head to the beach.

4. Fruit

A healthy and easy to grab snack, fruits are the best snacks to take to the beach. They’re refreshing and keep you cool. In terms of preparation, all you have to do is slice and dice it and then you’re good to go.

5.Sandwiches

A filling and easy to make snack, sandwiches are a great choice It doesn’t take much to make and you can make any kind of sandwich you want. You can also do something new and make a wrap. Both sandwiches and wraps are personable, so make one according to your taste.
