Joshua Stockton, a starstruck fan who was incarcerated at a psychiatric facility after Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove pressed legal charges in 2014 for stalking, has returned with a horror-movie like vengeance. He attempted to contact Cosgrove’s friends persistently via social media after reportedly being given a, “Pass to leave for a few days…[as] a reward for good behavior.”
Miranda’s friends immediately told her they were contacted and she proceeded to get in touch with authorities.
Stockton was originally incarcerated back in 2014 for sending pictures of himself to the star threatening to kill himself in the bathtub with a hairdryer because his “love was not returned” by the star. He additionally sent photos of his slit wrist, tagging Miranda in a tweet reading, “Maybe I’ll finish the job I started.”
He was ordered to stay 100 yards from Miranda at all times and not to contact anyone for the purpose of harassing her.
For violating these conditions, Stockton was dragged into court where he lost all his social media privileges for one year; If he doesn’t adhere to the new conditions, he will be sentenced to 4 years in prison.
Stockton has been checked back into the Psychiatric facility.
