Cyber market for used, high-end goods, Vestiaire Collective, is now stateside. And starting November 6th, anyone with an account (just enter your e-mail) can begin bidding on the site’s StyleCycle platform—an online auction for celebrity’s (owned or worn) designer duds.
Vestiaire’s Style Cycle donates all of the proceeds from each item to the celebrity’s charity of choice (who range from Kim Kardashian-West and the Dream Foundation, to Cara Delevingne and the Starlight Charity). “Each [celebrity] has a unique perspective and role within the fashion industry,” cofounder Fanny Moizant told Vogue. “Whether they are a model, designer, muse, or celebrity style icon, the idea was to gather a variety of personalities to give back to charity.”
Another exciting bonus? All of the pieces start out at $0. So who knows, maybe you could walk away with Kim K’s Balenciaga dress for twenty bucks (though don’t count on it)?
Vestiaire Collective’s StyleCycle launches on November 6th, and we know we’ll definitely be bidding, will you?
