Teresa Guidice of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ is due to surrender herself for a 15 month prison sentence on January 5, 2015. Her and husband Joe were indicted on 39 separate fraud charges back in Oct. Meanwhile, another Guidice is in the spotlight. Teresa’s eldest daughter Gia ,13, is part of an all girl singing group called 3KT, which stands for “3 Karet”. The group also features Gia’s friends Alexa Maetta and Christinna Cardinale.
3KT debuted their first music video covering Britney Spears’ “Circus”, complete with booty shorts, hair waving and rapping. It was released on the groups YouTube channel on October 31st.
Maria DeSantis, the owner of Xist Talent and manager of the group said this about the negative reviews.
“They are fully dressed. They’ve been competition dancers since they were toddlers, they’ve been onstage competing.”
She goes on to tell page six
“There is another video that we’re working on now. There are a lot of things in the works for them.”
The group was created this summer around the time Gia’s parents, Joe and Teresa Guidice ran into legal troubles. The group credits Beyoncé, Madonna, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson as musical inspiration’s.
Earlier this week reports stated that Teresa, Gia’s mother and soon to be Danbury Federal correctional institute inmate dropped $10,000 to make the video.
Source close to the couple tells USWeekly,
“She wants Gia to have an activity to distract her…. The group is making both Teresa and Gia very happy because they can focus all of their attention on something positive.”
