1. Kanye West’s Front Row

What attracts people’s attention to New York Fashion Week is not just the entrancing runway collections. The front row is sometimes an attention grabber especially when celebrities are gathered in the same room.

Kanye West’s show attracted more famous faces than others. Not including the Kardashians, some of the celebrities who attended were Anna Wintour, Riccardo Tisci, Michael Strahan, Jonathan Cheban, Jaden Smith, Sarah Snyder, 2 Chainz, Miguel, Pusha T, and Tyga.

 2. Thom Browne: Back to School

Thom Browne conveys such a novel idea this season. If you haven’t seen it yet, be prepared to be amazed by his wild imagination. Models wearing Japanese geisha-style makeup paired with platinum-blonde pigtails is the kind of look that one can hardly forget, but that’s not all. The sakura painted jackets layered with dresses provided the perfect look and also highlighted the Japanese theme of the show.

3. Alexander Wang’s 10th anniversary

This year is the 10th year of Alexander Wang eponymous label. To celebrate the 1oth anniversary, Alexander Wang chose his friend Anna Ewers to end his 10th-anniversary capsule collection show. He is also going to reissue a limited edition collection of 10 runway pieces from the past 10 years.

5. Marc Jacobs: Plus-Size Fashion

Who said models have to be slim? Mark Jacobs’s runway show was a bit different this season. He featured a plus-size outfit worn by Beth Ditto, who is a singer and songwriter for her band The Gossip. Beth Ditto walked during the middle of the show wearing a white long white evening gown paired with pewter platform sandals. She was no different than any other casted models like Kendall Jenner. Maybe this reveals Mark Jacobs’ ambition to elevate plus-size clothes in the fashion world.
