As you can imagine, this battle is far from over. On March 2nd 2014 while hosting her second Academy Awards, Ellen DeGerenes tweeted the now most talked about and most retweeted, recording breaking selfie yet. Last night, the late- night host of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, Jimmy Kimmel has decided to tweet his own version, although not with hollywood stars but rather with the political power players, the Clintons, nonetheless celebrities.
“@TheEllenShow- No Brad Cooper but 3 Clintons & a Kimmel @Bill Clinton @HillaryClinton @ChelseaClinton #selfie,” Kimmel tweeted, in reference to Ellen DeGeneres’ famous “selfie” that featured Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey and Bradley Cooper.

Ellen DeGeneres’ (center front) Oscars selfie — which featured (l.-r.) Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong’o, Peter Nyong’o Jr. and Angelina Jolie — has been retweeted 3.4 million times and counting.
Jimmy Kimmel’s selfie was a great way to wrap up an “up close and personal” light hearted Q&A interview session he hosted with the Clintons, in front of over 1000 students during a forum at the Clinton Global Initiative University in Tempe, Ariz.
Jimmy Kimmel unsurprisingly presses to get an answer for whats on everyone’s mind, Hillary Clinton presidential run for 2016. Hillary Clinton said she hadn’t yet decided. “I am very much concerned about the direction of our country,” she said. “And it’s not just who runs for office but what they do when they get there and how we bring people together and particularly empower young people so we can tackle these hard decisions.”
Some of the topics [besides few policy issues] the Clintons discussed were; how they met at Yale law school, their favorite television shows, and how they would love to have a grandchild.
