If you need a new pair of running shoes Reebok has got you covered this summer.

The New Reebok FloatRide Run Fast will be the fastest shoe on the market this July.

According to a 2018 Runner’s World report, The FloatRide Run Fast, however, won’t stress your credit card nearly as hard and shares some traits with the 4% to help you reach the finish line faster. It all starts with the foam: Reebok is using a Pebax-based foam—much like what’s found in the Vaporfly 4%—which is far lighter than the standard EVA that’s been used in running shoes for decades, but it also delivers excellent cushioning and off-the-charts bounce (energy return).

Thanks to that lightweight material, Reebok is able to use a considerable amount of foam underneath the foot without bogging you down. In doing so, it made the heel relatively tall—it’s about average thickness for a running shoe in general, but far thicker than what you’d typically find in a racer—and the drop from heel to forefoot is quite high, which can give you a sense of speed and propulsion. The result is a true go-fast tempo shoe, but without the harsh ride usually associated with a conventional racing flat, according to a 2018 Runner’s World report.

“I love this shoe. I love it,” gushed one tester. “It’s my favorite shoe in my collection, and I’ve actively considered limiting how much I run in it, to ‘save’ it for special days when I’ll really appreciate having this shoe. I may buy 10 pairs when it goes on sale, and stock up.”

Available in men’s and women’s sizing now via reebok.com is the Liquid Floatride Run, a limited-edition sneaker that comes with a $180 retail price. The look is built for performance but has lifestyle appeal, and is equipped with “liquid” features from the Reebok Future Lab including a stretch-to-fit web lace system that replaces shoelaces, and a lightweight grippy outsole for increased traction, according to a 2018 Footwear News report.
